Podcasts are audio presentations which can be downloaded to your personal computer or digital audio player. Increasingly, they are used to present instructional information in a convenient, easy-to-use manner.

In blended learning environments, lectures could be delivered via the web, allowing class time to be used for collaborative activity and discussions.
